Its been a while

March 16th, 2007 by andrewtang

Its been a while since I last blogged. Well, there are other commitments in life, not professional blogger though, so can’t keep updating my post. Well, I worked in MIFF 2007, Malaysia International Furniture Fair(not MILF, is MIFF) and met a lot of nice people XD. Currently, I found out that there are things that irritates me to the max. I found out that " Spartansssssssss…tonight, we dine in hell’ sibeh the ying, so i decided to put this phrase in my msn title.

Just in 1 week time, i got almost 10 messages telling me how good it was. Some even told me they watched the movie 2 times. But they didn’t know that I actually haven’t watch the movie yet. This is what I call Alcatel, or in a more vulgar manner "angkat tiao" or "loh tiu". Havent watch the movie then like very smart go put. Plus i don’t have the time to watch it yet. Been very busy with my stuff lately.

So if anyone havent watch this movie and face the same situation like me, please msg me and invite me to watch the movie together with you.

A tale of civet cats.

November 22nd, 2006 by andrewtang

Last Sunday, I was invited by my friend to join them for their dinner, claiming that his dad, there seremban master chef is going to cook me some delicacies himself. So, by being polite, i accepted the invitation although my mum already prepared us our dinner.

I reached there and his father told me that we are going to have an exotic delicacy that night, which is Civet Cat. If anyone wonders what is civet cat, its actually call GUO ZI LI in chinese, the mammals that cause the SARS epidemic outbreak years ago. He try to convince me that civet cat is actually a healthy food because of the mammals healthy diet, he claims that this mammal usually eat fruits only. Being a man that is educated by my dad that we can eat anything that has four legs and with the back facing the sky, I didnt refuse to eat it.

After having my meal, I was told by my friend’s father the story of this civet cats;

Mr.Y: You know how I got this cat or not?

Me: You bought it or you hunt it?

Mr.Y : I went hunting for civet cats with my friends and few dogs following us for our hunt, we saw few civet cats and when we try to hunt them down, they ran away leaving our hand empty while we return home

Me: Then?Where you found this meat ?

Mr.Y: Ooo, we slaughter the dog for their meat instead since we didnt got ourselves any civets.

OMGWTFBBQ!!!

Figure out the moral of the story yourself

Korean BBQ Restaurant

November 7th, 2006 by andrewtang

Today, I went out with my friends and we decided to have Korean BBQ as our dinner. So my friend suggest Ampang where he said he was told by his friend there is ONE Korean BBQ Restaurant that serves good food. So, I drove there while waiting for him to come.

When I reached there, I was like WTFBBQ??!! Instead of ONE single Korean restaurant, there are more than 10 Korean restaurants in the area. Nice intro man….some more gave me the wrong direction, its on the right side of road…not left.

So there’s too many choices around, so I got confured…so I rang Peter and ask whether he visited any of the restaurant before, NO….Peter never been to any before…he said he went to those not located in Ampang one.. =.="’…Peter ko…staying so near also dont want to eat near near ma?(Peter also suprised I suddenly called him, I m sure he thought WTF HE CALL ME FOR? hahaha,jk la pt) There are just hell lots of choices…including 1 Dae Jong Gum..大长玪..dont know the qing correct or not..LOLZ.

So I drop by a restaurant call Ban Wo Ri, due to its quite convincing name. (Ban Wo Ri= Dont Worry.) Apparently, I was really pleased with their service and believe me, their beef rib meet is an absolutely must among the menu. Sweet, tender and juicy. Its my first time anyway, so I was satisfied with the food, the service and rather satisfied with the price. RM163.30. Ok Ok lor hor? Four people, not bad ady. And due to their excellent service, i generously gave them RM165 and not requiring any change. Not my usual style hor…If usually I go to McD I will dig out all those one cents one cents…like rm9.83…die die also want to dig for the 3 cents. XD

So I reached home, wanted to tell the pig in my house how delicious was the beef, then because I was to anxious of telling her, I slipped. Yeah, fell in the longkang…SHIT MOTHER FUCKER OF NATURE!!! Rain somemore….-____-"

Now my leg damn pain, I think I need to do a leg transplant surgery…anyone out there is kind enough to donate one of their leg to me? You guys got 2 legs ma….come one…just one. Plz…

P/S:If I died tomorrow due to the pain please tell the Korean Restaurant its their beef fault that I died. Simply too delicious that I rushed home and fell down. Curse you!!!!

A Magician never reveal its secrets.

October 30th, 2006 by andrewtang

Time for another review. I recently watch " The Prestige" which has a huge cast featuring Hugh Jackman (Van Helsing, X-Men) , Scarlett Johanssan (The Island ), Christian Bale( Batman Returns, The Machinist) and Micheal Caine. Words can’t describe my feeling towards the movie, if I were to name a word to describe the movie, it would be " Brilliant".

I was in awe with the whole storyline, mysterious yet creatively done. It lets one think about how the story goes. Question kept flowing around my mind through out the whole movie. Why does this happen? Why does that happen? Makes me kept asking question to myself. This movie shows the basic of Magician which consists of 3 steps, Pledge, Turn and Prestige. No I m not going to tell what it is because I felt that this movie is too good to be ruin by spoler. Go ahead and watch it yourself.

Its a clever movie where the director cleverly let the story flow with different time, just like the one in " Infernal Affairs 3". I just hope you guys wont get confused by it. =p

I m giving a 5 star reccomendation for this movie and this is so far one of the best movie I watch in this year. The fierce rivalry between Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale is really intense and does require some light thinking of yours. For those who likes to watch brainless lame comedy by Wong Jing instead and doesnt like to use their brain to think while watching a movie then please watch Operation Undercover instead, its more suitable for you.( Reccomended by Hin Wei, a movie that features Fracis Ng, one of my favourite HK actor =)

P/S: Christian Bale seriously looks like Frank Lampard in Chelsea FC. Serious shit. Go and have a look if you dont believe.

Education that sways from the route?

I m currently pursuing E-commerce and Marketing in a famously known college in KL( for being cheap and affordable =P) It has been 3 and a half year since the day I entered this field. But recently, while taking a COMPULSARY and UNPAID internship at Kolam Pancing Ikan S2, I realize that I am actually moving away from my field and move into a new world.

First, I am moving into the logistic field. Where my job requires high endurance of the weather and the behaviour of some morons. This logistic job specifically need me to deliver stuff to the hand of the customers*morons* in the right time and place. Stuff that need to be delivered are such as Maggi Hot Cup, Tiger,Carlsberg, Gusiness Stout Beer, Dunhill, Malboro and etc.

Second, I more into the PR business now. Basically this task require me to go under the tree and set up a stall ang "kong gu" with those uncles.

Third, I m into the security department too. Keep round and round and round and round. Feeling like a profesional jaga ady. Give me a gun then some cloth to wrap my head then 100% look like a singh jaga ady.

…and etc….such as Procurement( Now I’m Makro loyal customer) Advertising (Word of mouth to my friends) Inventory control ( water and titbits refill) and worst Tour Guide ( Boss, can you show me where is the toilet ar?)

Seems like next time I can fill up my resume and CV with tonnes of job experince ^^ I think such highly potential multitasker employee like me can attact many boss to hire me….gua

A ghostly encounter..Season 2

October 18th, 2006 by andrewtang

Due to the facts that my friend had a spooky encounter with the third kind, I can’t help but try to proove that what he said is correct and true. Since I was there when he tried to convince his friend that he is not lying. Poor thing, he had to say " 我发誓我说的是真的!!!" * Doing a gesture cross my heart and swear to die*

Not only that, he had to re-convince his friend that he said the truth by saying     " 我发誓我是真的发誓." Poor thing =.="

I really believe that Genting is haunted and I hope that Genting won’t sue me for this comment. I got my own share of ghost story about Genting. Its like this, there was this one time hor, got one guy with his friend who does everything to get rich, they steal, ask for sportstoto number from graveyard, scam and whatever bad to get rich quickly. But none of it succeeded.*Lets name this guy Vin and his friend David to make it easier for me*  So Vin is starting to get desperate and his friend David gave him a clever scheme which is to go and rent a TOYOL from a local bomoh. Note that a toyol is a small ghost which chinese refer as "鬼仔" that comes from fetus of a baby that died during pregnancy. Toyol is a profesional type of stealer that lives by sucking his master blood little by little everyday as a reward for their effort to steal for their master. ( " 我发誓我说的是真的!!!"  If you don’t believe just go ahead and ask your malays friends, they will enlighten you more bout it)

Cont, so in exchange for them to rent the Toyol, they must give the Bomoh a total of rm10k per day which is very difficult for them since they dont have that huge sum of money. So they decided to go to unlicencesed bank a.k.a Ah Long. After giving the money and getting the toyol, Vin asked " Where should we ask him to steal money from?" Without a single doubt David suggested Genting Highland casino and off they go to Genting.

After 3 hours of driving, they finally reached Genting. When they park their car in the car park, they brought the Toyol down, the Toyol glance to the left and right and went back in the car. Vin saw what happened and take the Toyol out from the car again, but same thing happened where the Toyol return to the car as he felt uncomfortable with the surroundings. Then both of them forcefully grab the Toyol out , lock the car, but its useless since Toyol is a ghost, he can return to the car easily.

David observed what happened and remembered something, he told Vin " I heard that last time there were some guys who brought toyol here to steal but same thing happened where the toyols seems to be scared because they are more bigger and scarier ghost in Genting Highland that is reared by the management.

So they went all the way back to the Bomoh and told him what happened. This is the conversation

Vin, David: Tok Bomoh, kenapa toyol yang kau bagi itu tidak tolong kita curi  benda yang kita mahu?

Bomoh: Mana kau bawa dia pergi curi?

David: Genting Highland la tok

Bomoh: Alah…patutlah, banyak banyak tempat you tak bawa dia pergi, you bawa dia pergi Genting, kan toyol itu hantu kecik….tak pakai baju…dia sejuklah…pasal tulah dia tak mau turun kereta you

A ghostly encounter..

October 15th, 2006 by andrewtang

Today, one of my friend that just came back from genting told me his experience of a ghostly encounter with the "thing" or should I say evil spirits, in Genting Highland, First World Hotel. Although I might not be with him that time, but I sure do feel the chills rushing through my nerves…SPOOKY*scary*

According to him, he took a short nap in the hotel’s room while all his other friends went out to enjoy themselves in Genting leaving him and another girl behind. So to make the story short, he suddenly woke up from his nap and saw this girl…(this girl is his fren la….not THOSE "THING") And since both of them were unable to continue their sleep, they decided to sit and chat around.

Suddenly, they heard sound of water flowing through, and later they realize the sound came from the open pipe from their toilet. It’s a shocking truth when they found out that the pipe was open by an unknown third party in the room and this remains a mystery.

Later, weird slight sound of wardrobe and cupboards banging roams the room which makes the atmosphere even tense than before. My friend told me that he wasnt really scared and he acted just selamba. To add oil to fire, he increase his selambaness by scaring the girl with auntie and uncle stories.

Later, they continued their sleeps while their other friends came back. The next morning, all people in the room also said that they heard strange noise. Its normal if there are any strange noises around where everyone can hear it, but its abnormal when all people said that they heard the noise came from different source and direction…..

After listening to his story, I felt the chills getting stronger and I decided to let him know my part of the story which is related to Genting too…Since its getting later, i’ll guess i’ll post it the next time…I m starting to hear strange noises too now….Grandfather Zhou whispering me now…feijai……feijai….woooooo

Since I was a kid, when my friend got to know that my family business is to rear fresh water fish, one question sure come out from their mouth which is " Ei, can I go to your fish pond and fish ar?"

Hehe, after so many years, my dad finally decided to open up one of his fish pond and turn it into a fishing pond. So I m trying to do some promotional activity here on behalf of my father. To those who like to fish then you can drop by, the fees is not really expensive and actually quite reasonable. We charge RM6 per hour and the minimum time to fish must be at least 2 hours.

What fish is in the pond? Erm, they are actually 15 type of fishes in it, which are Tilapia, Baung, Keli, Pacu, Belinda, Haruan, Grass Carp, Big Head Carp, Patin and few more that I forget. No need to wait, just drop by for a great fishing experience as this is a new pond and the fishes are very naive, I m sure you can get many fishes. Btw, the fishing pond is located at Seremban, Kampung Kayu Ara, just drop me a msg or a call when you plan to come. Try my best to assist you

Preview on Helicopter Movie =.=

October 4th, 2006 by andrewtang

The term "helicopter movie" is a more serious way of saying "naik kereta". When its even worse than "naik kereta" then it will be naik "helicopter". =.=" I went to watch a movie yesterday, after Rob-B-Hood, Zoom, The Banquet and all others watchable movie is fully occupied, my friend made a bold move to go for " The Wicker Man" starring Nicholas Cage.

WARNING!!!Spoiler ahead, if those serious fan of Nicholas Cage is reading then you may leave. "The Wicker Man" is a story that revolve around a mentally depressed policeman, Nicholas Cage. He received an invitation from his former fiancee to go the this WEIRD island call Summersile, where everything starts to going up the car.  This fiancee of him, name Willow asked Nicholas for help to find her missing daughter when it turns out to be their daughter. Note that this island is a place where woman rules all, and man are just use as a breeding tools. So those men around is farking useless

After getting pissed off while investigating due to everyone is ignoring him and pretended that her daughter never existed. =.= In the middle of the story, it seems that this daughter of theirs is actually going to be sacrificed during a ritual to the GOD OF HARVEST so that they can have better crop the next year. But somehow, after getting nearer and nearer to the source and the truth, when Nicholas finally found her daugther ( YEAH!!! HAPPY ENDING) during a ritual where the residence of the island try to burn her alive, they ran away together with his daughter leading the way, and the greatest part is here. Its all a trap. The daughter lead Nicholas to the bunch of wackos villagers that actually want to catch Nicholas and sacrifice him instead of the small girl =.=, so damn LAME.

Finally, it turns out that its a tradition of the people there to go and find a stranger(man) with a blood relation with them ( nicholas and willow=girls parents) and then make it as a sacrifice for their annual festival. In the end, poor nicholas got burnt to death.

The story ends with the same girl(willow) and her another fren went to the city again and try to hit out at those guys in the city to make love with them and then give birth to a child setting the whole trap again.

I seriously think that the author is a faggot discriminator and racist, where he/she felt that man is really worthless. The whole movie is under a low budget with all the ladies acting in it are really bad looking including the main actress. The whole movie is so damn stupid because everything happen in the island is really lame.

I dont really advice anyone to go for this movie, but if you feel that you got lots of money and want to give it a try then please go ahead.
